Our Mission Statement


1982 Kerrgi Intakes Foundation (1982 Gambia National Gendarmerie and the Gambia Police force intakes referred to as KERRGI Intakes) is a charitable foundation registered in the Gambia on the 7th September 2018 Charity No.
2018/C7408 and our focus is on helping our vulnerable comrades.

Our objective is to empower the families of our fallen comrades and also active comrades who’ve been victims of poverty, and help the surviving children with school and college grants as well as provide financial assistance to those families in need of help with health care, housing, utilities, food and clothing.

We aim to recognise the worth of each individual members and their families, and desires to promote the interest and welfare of our members and their families. We are committed to the building of a strong foudation dedicated to the pursuit of mutual understanding, love, a strong sense of cultural value, and the brotherhood of humanity.

We seek to build mutual trust amongst ourselves and safeguard, preserve and promote our friendship and brotherhood, in the conduct of all our affairs and we willingly adopt our byLaws as guidance towards that goal.

We aim to establish a supportive environment and promote an overall understanding among one another and to cater to the welfare of all members of the Foundation, and to promote non-discrimination and mutual acceptance of one another and have more open communication and better team decision build on respect and trust.
